The UFI Committee on Sustainable Development was formally established in 2008 to support UFI as it focuses on the issue of Sustainable Development in the Exhibition Industry. Primarily devoted to providing information to UFI Members, it is also intended to contribute to the overall understanding of related issues for the entire industry.
The Committee is composed of representatives from the industry (venues, organizers, service providers and national associations) from Asia, Europe, Middle East, North America and Pacific regions.
It is chaired by Michael DUCK (Executive Vice-President, UBM Asia, Hong Kong). ). Its Vice Chair is Dianne YOUNG (Chief Executive Officer, Direct Energy Centre Exhibition Place, Toronto) and its secretary is Christian DRUART (UFI Headquarters in Paris).
