The past year was tough for everybody in our industry. But we want to show, that we don't give up. And so do our clients. We have made posts for our social networks (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn) with statements from the surwey we conducted in March 2021. They show, that exhibitors are ready to get back to the exhibition centre! And so are we!

After being in polar darkness, the industry is now finally awaiting for the sun to rise again. Each sunrise is both the proof and the celebration of the return of new power.
This campaign aims to create a wave of hope & confidence that will spread over the globe from west to east through all time zones on GED2021.
All event professionals are invited to participate in a 3-step action:
Set your alarm clock & get ready:
1. Take your GED picture/video with the sun rising behind you (make it yours: e.g. in front of your venue, with event signboard, etc)
2. Prepare your message, including #GED2021 & #GED2021risesagain, explaining why exhibitions will rise again or the power of exhibitions and the key role in rebuilding and recovering communities and economies.
3. Share it on social media on June 2nd during your local sunrise to participate in the RISE AGAIN wave.

Colleagues of the industry in Korea participated in celebrating GED.
(AKEI, aT Center, Coex, GSCO, KEOA, KINTEX, SCC, Songdo ConvensiA, Suwon Messe, Reed K. Exhibitions)
We participated in GED by taking photos, posting GED poster on our weekly newsletter, exhibiting huge LED signs at venues, posting pictures and messages on our social media.
Some of our colleagues in Korea also sent the 'voices of exhibition industry' cards, showing confidence in the future of our industry, as Korea is one of the very first countries that restarted running exhibitions.
Apart from GED, last year, AKEI also promoted our industry domestic with the phrase that exhibitions are safer than subways, indicating the exhibitions are much more organized, thus safer.
We still strongly believe in this, and are sure that the global exhibition industry will rise once again in near future.
