For over 30 years, UFI has been organizing numerous educational seminars on various topics related to exhibition
industry issues:
From 1970 to 1992, the UFI Technical Committee and its Working Groups organized seminars for UFI members
only, on specific topics such as the management of exhibition halls, computer use, visitor and exhibitor promotion,
exhibition marketing, career development, etc.
From 1993 to 2001, UFI organized the "UFI Summer Seminars" which took place each year in June. These
3-day seminars, mainly focused on marketing, IT, and fairground issues, were open to UFI members and also to a limited number
of non-members.
Since 1969, UFI has been organizing seminars prepared by the
Cooperation Committee
, and dedicated to the professionals of the exhibition industry of a specific region, mainly outside Europe. The purpose
of these seminars is to make UFI known to the exhibition industry of a given region and to transmit the know-how of
experienced UFI members in the scope of international exhibition business cooperation. These seminars are open primarily to
non-members.
