Who are we?
Members of this Working Group are service and operation managers from various countries who meet and exchange in UFI’s Operations and Services Working Group.
What is our mission?
Operations and Services make exhibitions really happen. The main aim of this working group is to provide a platform to discover trends and innovations as well as sharing expertise, among UFI members.
How do we accomplish our mission?
We do this mainly through the following activities:
- Operations and Services Award
- Working group meetings as discussion forums
- Organize UFI Forums
- Industry research
- Visiting and exchanging with exhibition venues
Who can join us?
UFI member employees who are operations and services experts and want to voluntarily push this topic are invited to apply for membership.
What are the tasks of a group member?
We expect an ongoing and proactive contribution from each member to the group and participation in annual working group meetings, as well as help with promoting the group’s activities to their respective networks. These include, but are not limited to: Operations and Services Award, Working Group meetings, UFI Forums and industry research.
The Working Group annually organises three face-to-face meetings to discuss working group matters and industry trends. These meetings are traditionally organised alongside UFI’s Regional Conferences and the Global Congress. In addition, depending on availabilities and needs, it is at the Chair’s discretion to suggest additional face-to-face meetings or set up conference calls throughout the year.
