With a view to boosting industry statistics and knowledge, IELA launches its campaign for active data collection. UFI’s new Economic Impact Study accentuates the global economic impact of the exhibition industry. We recognise the importance of quantifying our industry potential and have introduced a targeted initiative this year.
Having collected incredible amounts of data over 10 years, combined telescopes from all over the world to use the network as one giant telescope, scientists from all over the world finally identify the first image of a black hole. The Event Horizon project shows how data sharing and teamwork works towards one common goal. For GED19, IELA unites its network strengths to launch this interferometric initiative.
The IELA GED19 Event Logistics Horizon project begins the 2020 IELA DATA ROOM survey. IELA Members will take pictures while activating their own telescopes in support of GED19 and together we will create our big picture in 2020 with the IELA DATA ROOM!
