People are a company’s number one asset, so to waste people is to waste assets. Valuing the differences among employees makes good business sense, providing access to a much wider skillset. Staff of different ethnicities, cultures, gender, and age etc. also allow organizations to better cater to the needs of increasingly diverse and multicultural customers.

Many organizations are currently developing workplace culture and environments to embrace values such as mutual respect, understanding and tolerance.  Post pandemic, it is the people within the organization that will make the real difference in terms of the speed and extent of economic recovery.
