Topic: How to Modernize Your Exhibitor Education Program
Description: Event organizers - there’s no better way to increase exhibitor satisfaction and retention than to help your exhibitors get more value out of their participation in your trade shows. Exhibitor education is a proven approach to accomplishing this goal, however many event organizers aren’t taking full advantage of it (and some aren’t incorporating it at all). This webinar will list relevant statistics to help you justify exhibitor education, introduce fresh education formats that you may not have considered yet, and outline simple steps for choosing the most helpful topics for your exhibitors.

RAI Amsterdam focuses on sustainability on Global Exhibitions Day
RAI Amsterdam marked Global Exhibitions Day on Wednesday 4 June by sharing tips with organisers on how to make their events more socially relevant. As the RAI’s CSR Manager Stephanie Mathas explains in the latest RAI blog, events often have more value than is immediately obvious: knowledge, space and materials can be used to greater effect than planned, without large additional investments. Consciously looking for issues that are relevant to society as a whole and responding to them with an event can have a far greater positive impact.
Organisers who consider their event in a broad perspective will have a significant social impact outside their immediate target groups. The results are good for the world while also resulting in additional appreciation from all stakeholders. This in turn is beneficial to the continuity of an event and often provides new ways of looking at things, further enriching the content.

On 5 June at the Auditorium dell’Ara Pacis in Rome, AEFI will celebrate Global Exhibitions Day.
The UN goals set out by the 2030 Agenda, which should guide strategic decision-making for sustainable development, will influence both the trade show districts, or buildings, and the organisational processes set up to manage waste, reduce energy consumption and, more generally, to fully apply the principles of a circular economy.
The best practices of AEFI members will be presented at the Ara Pacis, with the aim of sharing virtuous paths and generating positive emulation.
Achieving systematic goals in a global economy requires the close collaboration of companies, trade fairs and institutions; it will be discussed by the AEFI President and Vice Presidents during a debate that will also cover the themes of sector legislation, a vision of economic development, and promotion of the Made in Italy.
