TCEB led by Exhibitions Department joined hands with Thai Exhibition Association (TEA) in organizing activity to mark Global Exhibition Day (GED) 2019 on May 29 to strengthen ties among stakeholders and show solidarity of the exhibition industry in Thailand in advancing the industry to a higher level. The panel discussion on "Success of Domestic Exhibition" and The special talk on “Global Exhibition Trends, Developments and Opportunities for Thailand Exhibition Industry” was organized to keep the stakeholders abreast of the industry. 150 exhibition stakeholders took part in GED 2019.

We sent an email to our members at the end of march beginning of april to invite them to participate in the ged with a video. You should send us a 15 to 20 second video. You could add the following questions to your video:
- How long have you been part of the stand construction industry?
- Why did you choose the trade fair construction industry?
- To what extent do you contribute to a sustainable world?
So far we have received about three videos.
We from the team have also thought about something for social media. We are currently considering 8 reasons why we love the fair so much and why it is our passion. This will be published together with the ged logo from this year on facebook and the other platforms as soon as it is ready.

We made a video to support GED2019 and promote our facility.
Tokyo Big Sight is the largest exhibition center in Japan and waiting for the opening of the South Exhibition Halls on July 1st. Tokyo Big Sight will be the Japan’s first international exhibition center with over 100,000㎡ after its opening.
We will continue to contribute to exhibition industry and hope a development of our industry.

Design and sustain an information campaign on the site of IEC Moldexpo and on other info portals of Moldova aiming to inform and raise awareness about the importance of the exhibition industry in the country and in the world. Also, discuss and inform about this subject at the Networking Events in the framework of international exhibitions organized by Moldexpo through April and May 2019.
Accademia Fiera Milano has enhanced its online activities for the Global Exhibitions Day. In the last three years the purpose of Accademia was to show the Ufi community that many young talents are passionate about exhibitions and want to be part of the industry. This year Accademia maintained this message on Facebook but it has also decided to engage more with the Millennial and Gen Z audience by communicating on Instagram with GIFs and stories.

AAXO took charge of arranging a celebration for GED 2019 by partnering up with our fellow South African Exhibition related Association EXSA thus falling under the EIA (Exhibition Industry Alliance). We are hosting a quiz and networking event at one of our Associate Member venues - Radison Blu, Gautrain. We are estimating anything from 40 - 60 guests and have prizes over R30 000 to hand out on the day.
