IEIA is celebrating the Global Exhibitions Day at its Venue Members across different regions. The theme for IEIA's #GED2022 is to promote the awareness about the 'X' Factor of Exhibitions (eXhibitions=eXponential growth). IEIA has spearheaded a nation wide social media campaign based on this theme which will be promoted by 250+ member organisations across the country along with on-site celebrations at our members offices. IEIA is also pleased to launch the calendar of physical events for 2022 on the occasion of #GED2022 to mark the importance of face to face events as well as to commemorate the strong come back of the exhibitions sector in India. Another very important initiative taken by IEIA on the occasion of GED is the launch of the Skilling Programs Pilot project launch in Bengaluru, aligned to the National Skills Qualification Framework under the banner of Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship. IEIA wishes all a very Happy Global Exhibitions Day 2022.

2021 has meant the return to face-to-face attendance on the FYCMA calendar. With a total of 147 events held between fairs and exhibitions, congresses, conventions, conferences and other acts -plus the coordination of Mobile Week Málaga and the vaccination and test projects-, the venue has registered activity indicators very close to the pre-pandemic scenario, following a context in which international mobility has still been limited and a complex social and health situation. Despite this, FYCMA managed to resume its calendar, with a continued growth during the year, culminating in the organization of a cross-cutting city project: Mobile Week Málaga. FYCMA calendar in 2021 is a clear example of the harmonious and enriching coexistence of the axes that support the business structure: mainly as an organizer and promoter of innovative-based fairs and sector forums, and as a provider of spaces and services for other organizers.

Home and building are the key words to Restart and Recovery: the lockdown has put homes at the very top of the scale of values. The recovery will ask for putting in safety private homes, social spaces, commercial establishments, offices, factories, instruction buildings, sport and leisure facilities. And change is a huge opportunity for all businesses operating in construction, which find themselves called to interpret it using suitable technical solutions.
