Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD)

The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) is an international organisation that works to build better policies for better lives. Its goal is to shape policies that foster prosperity, equality, opportunity and well-being for all.

UFI is a contributor to the OECD Guides on Measuring the Impact of sports, culture, and business events launched in July 2023.

These guides are the outcome of a two-year project with consultations with local and national governments; event hosts, owners and organisers; international organisations; and academic experts. They take stock of the current advice, guidelines and good practices for measuring the impact of global events and present a set of common indicators to measure the economic, social and environmental impact of global events on local development.
